I've never been much of a fan of brow gels. All the ones I've tried usually made me break out or made my eyebrows feel crunchy. That has all changed since I've met the Glossier Boy Brow.

A couple weeks ago I got sucked into their website and was looking at products to purchase. Everything was so cute, but I had read good things about the Boy Brow. The website describes the product as a pomade, which reminded me of the Anastasia dip brow pomade. I had good experiences with that product, so I decided to go for it and purchase it in both black and brown.

Each Boy Brow costs $16 and there were a lot of 20% off codes for your first purchase. The items came super quick. Along with my products, I received a cute bubble wrap pouch along with a bunch of glossier stickers. I know they are meant for your products, but I'm not afraid to admit my laptop is now covered with them. :)

The Glossier website describes this as the all around brow product, but as someone with naturally very uneven brows, I can tell you that this product will not fill in any gaps you have in your brows - but it will make them look much fuller. Before applying this product I usually fill my brows in with the KATE eyebrow pencil. Afterwards, I apply the boy brow in an upwards motion.

One thing I really like about the product is the small brow. There have been times were I get too much product but that's nothing a brow brush can't fix. After using this for a couple weeks, I have found the brown to suit me more than the black. Although my natural eyebrow color is black, I often felt like it was too much. The brown color deposits a nice natural tint to my brows without looking unnatural. As you can see from the picture below, these are my brows at the end of the day. They are pretty much still in place and look a bit fuller.

This isn't really a necessity to my daily routine, but I feel like it adds a nice touch. It's also great for those no makeup days, when you want to look a bit more groomed. Definitely recommend this and will be purchasing again when it runs out.
