I don't think there is one person I know, who wouldn't say 2020 was a complete shit show of a year. Despite the incredibly difficult year, it has given me some time to reflect and focus on what's important. One of which is my physical health. I had completely de-prioritized my physical well-being, not fully realizing the huge impact it has on my overall well-being.
So, one of the positives of 2020 was re-prioritizing my physical health. :) What did that mean? It meant taking at least 5 minutes a day out of my day, no matter how tired I am, to stretch or meditate. It also meant to adjust my diet - to understand the impact of what I put in my body. And overall to have better awareness of my body, as a body in poor health can have impact on all aspects of one's life.
As the year reaches to an end, I'd like to share with you one of my favorite smoothie recipes as a brighter note. It's super easy-to-make and delicious.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of Siggi's Plain Non-fat drinkable Yogurt
- 1 banana
- 1 tsp of blueberry powder
- 1.5 tsp of acai powder
Blend it all together until smooth and enjoy!
